Hitch Salesforce Integration with Sharepoint
Access SharePoint documents and folders through an interactive UI built for the Salesforce Lightning interface.
A Robust, Two-way Integration between Microsoft SharePoint and Salesforce
Our Hitch app for Salesforce allows end users to access SharePoint documents and folders through an interactive UI built on the Salesforce Lightning Design System and Lightning component framework. The Hitch application can be placed on any record detail page within Salesforce and with a few additional steps, end users can set default SharePoint upload folders for that Salesforce record.
Unlike Files Connect for Salesforce which provides a read-only view into SharePoint, Hitch allows users to upload files that are automatically linked to the record’s files container and create folders in SharePoint without ever needing to leave Salesforce. Lastly, by leveraging authentication flows and tokens the Microsoft Graph API grants users the ability to only have to login once every 90 days or after a password reset. This feature gives administrators the ability to restrict access to certain functionality on a per user basis defined in SharePoint.
