Summit Technologies is a rapidly growing startup in the Salesforce consulting space. We are experts in helping our clients adopt and implement Salesforce.com as their CRM, marketing, mobile, collaboration and workflow platform. We have nearly one hundred clients both around central Ohio and all over the United States. Most of our engagements are performed remotely from our offices in the Brewery District of Columbus Ohio.

Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and driven Delivery Lead to work with our clients to gather requirements, user stories and document use cases for the Salesforce platform and ensure successful engagements and project go-lives implementations.

Position Summary

The Salesforce Delivery Lead develops specifications and gathers requirements; documents use cases in response to client needs and planned usage for the platform. This position participates in discovery and business process review activities, working collaboratively with other team members and the client team. Ultimately, the Salesforce Delivery Lead ensures successful engagements and project implementations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery process to identify and document client business processes and project requirements

  • Ability to manage client projects and internal team

  • Interact directly with our customers and the Summit Technologies team, including consultants, developers, architects and sales to ensure customer success

  • Participate in the full application life cycle from design to development, testing, and deployment

  • Manage data and design platform analytics

  • Establish a partner relationship with clients to uncover additional opportunities and projects

  • Work closely with Account Executives to help with pre-sales project scoping and ensure client satisfaction and successful delivery

  • Oversee budget for projects and manage expenses and variances


Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Design, test, and deploy user interfaces, business logic, and security for custom applications

  • Work with SE to ensure that the overall Salesforce solution optimizes the client’s investment in the platform, balancing business needs with technical complexity.

  • This role will span all aspects of the software development lifecycle and include working alongside the client’s business, development and user experience teams in a highly collaborative environment. From design to development, testing and deployment, the Delivery Lead is ultimately responsible for developing overall solution design options and recommendations

  • Ability to document business use cases and user stories

  • Manages projects using test-driven development, Agile and Scum methodologies

  • Manages the scope of projects and create Change Requests and Change Orders as needed

  • Manage the timeline of projects and the utilization of human resources to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery

  • Understand and evaluate business requirements in the context of the client’s overall system solutions, including systems outside of Salesforce that are unique to the client

  • Responsible for designing new features and functionality as well as integrating new modules that enhance the client’s experience with the Salesforce platform

  • Drafts and documents comprehensive business requirement specifications

  • Interacts directly with clients and the Summit Technologies team, including consultants, SE’s, architects and sales to ensure client success and satisfaction. Among these many stakeholder groups, this position coordinates and negotiates solutions to complex, cross-functional scenarios while remaining focused on the overarching objective for the client.

  • Routinely leads in problem analysis with client business users and assists in determining software solutions and enhancements. Leads discovery meetings and the documentation of business requirements and user stories associated with the client project.

  • Earns trust and confidence of clients through honesty, competency, platform knowledge, value driven solutions and user advocacy

  • Remains abreast of the current and future Salesforce feature set and how those changes are relevant to the client organization. Further, this role sets direction for the client to adopt features and technology that will maximize utilization and investment.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 4+ years of experience with business analysis and IT project management

  • Be results-oriented, able to take a task and achieve objectives with minimal guidance

  • Be creative, resourceful and able to think outside the box

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Experience leading and managing project teams

  • Comfort in working in a small company atmosphere at a fast pace

  • Salesforce Administrator or other Salesforce certifications

  • Salesforce user experience

Pay: $80,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
